Hyderabad, June 26 -- Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau is conducting searches at road transport authority offices across the state amid allegations of corruption in the transport department.
According to reports, three locations in Hyderabad, including Uppal, Tirumalgiri and Manneguda, have been raided along with the Peddapalli RTA office since Thursday morning.
ACB officials are examining documents and questioning the RTA officials to uncover alleged favouritism in issuing driving licenses, fitness certificates, and vehicle registrations, etc and any instances of unlawful transactions.
Reportedly, 18 agents are under the scanner as part of the ongoing investigation.
