66% Indian adults are addicted to online world due to COVID-19: Study
Hyderabad, Aug. 24 -- The COVID-19 pandemic, which made the world shut itself indoors for months, has also resulted in negatively impacting Indian adults, a study has found. In a poll of over 1,000 people, 8 in 10 (82%) said that the amount of time they spent on screens, aside from educational or work purposes, has increased significantly during the ongoing pandemic
The study was conducted online by The Harris Poll, and findings from the India segment of the research show that two in three Indians surveyed (66%) say they have become addicted to being online as a result of the pandemic.
