India, Nov. 6 -- Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath to newly elected Rajya Sabha members Sat Paul Sharma from BJP and Rajinder Gupta from AAP during a ceremony attended by Union Ministers and dignitaries.

Sharma, former cabinet minister and president of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, holds a B.Sc. degree and became a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1986.

The Vice President also met with Prof. P. Prakash Babu, Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University, discussing student facilities, advanced courses, cleanliness initiatives, and the importance of student welfare and research advancement in improving university rankings and community engagement.
