New Delhi, May 29 -- : Government-owned steel behemoth SAIL has recorded a standalone net profit of Rs 1,178 crore for the January-March quarter of 2024-25, which represents a 16.5 per cent increase over the corresponding figure of Rs 1,011 crore for the same quarter of the previous year.
The company has proposed a final dividend of Rs 1.60 per share (face value Rs 10 per share) subject to the approval of Shareholders at the ensuing annual general meeting (AGM). SAIL's revenue from operations increased to Rs 29,316 crore during the fourth quarter of 2024-25, which represents a 4.9 per cent increase over the corresponding figure of from Rs 27,958 crore during the same quarter of the previous year.
