New Delhi, June 5 -- Gurugram June 06 Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna PSU under Ministry of Power, Government of India, has acquired 'MEL Power Transmission Limited', project SPV with cost of Rs.558 crore (NCT estimations)to establish Transmission System for evacuation of power from Mahan Energen Limited Generation Station in Madhya Pradesh on BOOT basis from PFC Consulting Limited.
The project comprises establishment of 400 kV D/c Transmission line and associated bays at existing Rewa PS (PG) substation in Madhya Pradesh and will cater to reliable power evacuation of Mahan Energen Limited (2x600 MW) Generation Station of Madhya Pradesh.
