New Delhi, Sept. 12 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Manipur on Saturday to inaugurate 17 projects and lay the foundation stones for 14 new development projects, collectively valued at Rs 8,500 crore.
The Prime Minister will arrive from Aizawl and first address internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Churachandpur, where he will lay foundation stones for projects worth Rs 7,300 crore. He will later proceed to Imphal's Kangla Fort to inaugurate infrastructure projects totaling Rs 1,200 crore and interact with IDPs.
