New Delhi, Dec. 2 -- As of November 23, 2023, the Indian government has disbursed Rs 1,634.62 crore as a subsidy under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme.
An allocation of Rs 500 crore is designated for e-ambulances, with the scheme extended until March 31, 2028, for these and other segments, while the deadline for e2Ws and e-3Ws remains March 31, 2026.
A total of Rs 2,000 crore is earmarked for public electric vehicle charging infrastructure, but no grants have yet been awarded. The scheme includes allocations of e-buses, with 1,500 for Mumbai and 2,800 for Delhi.
