New Delhi, July 5 -- India has remarkably introduced 88 new airports, averaging one new airport every 40 days, along with an increase of 60 additional flights every hour, as highlighted by Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu.
The Minister emphasized that air travel in India has become increasingly accessible, available, and affordable for all.
"Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, our skies have transformed into more connected, competitive, and collaborative spaces," Naidu stated, reinforcing the ministry's commitment to developing state-specific strategies that promote inclusive growth in aviation.
