India, Jan. 26 -- NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has commissioned the entire 300 MW capacity of its Barsingsar Solar Power Project in Rajasthan, contributing to India's renewable energy goals.
This project, developed under the CPSU Scheme, includes 52.83 MW from phase one and 106 MW from phase two, marking NLCIL's most extensive solar power initiative to date.
The total renewable energy capacity of NLCIL now stands at 1,766 MW, boosting its overall generation capacity to 7,726 MW. The project employs domestically manufactured solar PV modules, aligning with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and supporting sustainable growth.
