India, Dec. 7 -- Low-cost airline IndiGo has refunded Rs 610 crore to passengers affected by cancelled or heavily delayed flights after the government directed the carrier to complete all pending refunds by 8 p.m. on Sunday, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said.
According to the official statement, no additional charges can be imposed on passengers rescheduling their disrupted travel plans. Dedicated support cells have been set up to assist travellers and ensure that refund and rebooking issues are resolved quickly and smoothly.
The ministry added that IndiGo's operational performance has improved steadily, with flight schedules returning to normal. The airline increased its operations from 706 flights on Friday to 1,565 on Saturday, and...
