New Delhi, Nov. 4 -- Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced the advancement of oil and gas exploration across seven sedimentary basins in India through "Mission Anveshan," a significant seismic mapping initiative launched in October 2024.
The rs 792 crore program aims to survey 20,000 ground line kilometres, with over 8,000 km already completed. India's offshore area is now extensively open for exploration, following the clearance of 99% of 'No-Go' zones.
