India, Feb. 10 -- India will host the 'AI Impact Summit 2026' from February 16-20 to emphasize the democratisation of AI, focusing on affordability, openness, and trust to benefit diverse groups including farmers and students.
The summit will gather global leaders and experts to discuss equitable access to AI resources. Central to these discussions is the Democratizing AI Resources Working Group, co-chaired by India, Egypt, and Kenya, aimed at fostering collaboration and capacity building for a balanced global AI ecosystem.
The initiative under the IndiaAI Mission, with a budget of Rs 10,371.92 crore over five years, seeks to enhance data availability and responsible AI use for societal good.
