India, April 6 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal announced on Saturday that the government will provide a substantial outlay for deeptech startups from the Rs 10,000 crore Fund of Funds scheme. Addressing the Startup Mahakumbh 2025 here, the minister said he has directed the SIDBI to prioritise smaller startups while disbursing funds through the scheme.

"I want SIDBI to have one centre in every state to help startup founders and entrepreneurs explore new ideas," he said. Goyal expressed confidence in the country's potential in deep technology, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
