New Delhi, Nov. 12 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman chaired the third pre-Budget consultation with stakeholders from the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector in New Delhi for the upcoming Union Budget 2026-27.

The meeting included discussions on improving the investment climate through digitized single window clearances and reforming business regulations. A report by Assocham suggested a consolidated annual MSME compliance form to ease regulatory burdens.
