India, Dec. 15 -- Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi, emphasized the importance of energy conservation for strengthening India's future energy security.

In a recent social media post, he urged citizens to adopt efficient energy practices, aligning with the government's initiatives to expand renewable energy and conservation efforts.

Joshi reassured that no green energy projects have been scrapped and highlighted the progress of renewable energy projects totaling 67,554 megawatts since April 2023. He also noted the growing preference for solar-plus-storage systems over traditional projects, reflecting advancements in energy solutions.
