New Delhi, June 12 -- DVC Signs Power Purchase Agreement with NHPC to Enhance Affordable Power Supply under FDRE Scheme
New Delhi, June 12:Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Ltd under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's (MNRE) FDRE (Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy) scheme.
This agreement secures 250 MW for 25 years of solar power, supported by a robust battery storage system, to ensure a reliable and affordable power supply.
Under the terms of the agreement, ACME Solar Holdings Ltd will provide 250 MW of renewable energy from its solar power complemented by a 250 MW/1,150 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) from their upcoming plant in Rajasthan. This agreement is...
