New Delhi, Dec. 16 -- India has signed 46 international agreements, including 27 bilateral agreements and 19 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with other nations, to combat drug trafficking, as reported by Minister of State for Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai, in the Lok Sabha.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) plays a central role in these efforts by coordinating information sharing and intelligence collaboration with various global organizations.

Key partnerships include the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation - Drug Offences Monitoring Desk (SAARC-SDOMD), BRICS, ASEAN, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
