India, Jan. 25 -- Veteran actor Dharmendra and Left stalwart and former Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan have been awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously on the eve of Republic Day 2026.

Singer Alka Yagnik, Malayalam superstar Mammootty, and late JMM founder and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren have been conferred the Padma Bhushan, while sportspersons Harmanpreet Kaur, Rohit Sharma and Savita Punia are among the Padma Shri awardees.
