India, Jan. 5 -- Apple's iPhone exports from India surpassed $50 billion under the smartphone production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme by December 2025, with $16 billion in exports during the first nine months of FY26.

Apple's figure is significantly higher than Samsung's $17 billion during its PLI eligibility from FY21 to FY25. The company operates five assembly plants in India, supported by a supply chain of about 45 companies, predominantly MSMEs.
