Ahmedabad, Feb. 12 -- India clinched the three-match ODI series against England following a 142-run victory in the third One Day International at the Narendra Modi Stadium today.

Chasing a target of 356 runs set by India, the England batters scored 214. The England team lost all the wickets in 34.2 overs.

For his excellent knock of 112 runs, Shubman Gill was adjudged Player of the Match.

Inserted to bat first, India put up a massive 356-run total, courtesy to a brilliant century from Shubman Gill (112), his seventh ODI ton. He was well-supported by Shreyas Iyer (78) and Virat Kohli (52), who ensured the team capitalised on a solid platform. Adil Rashid was England's standout bowler, claiming 4/65.
