Bhubaneswar, April 17 -- The Odisha Government today announced closure of all schools in the state from April 18 to 20 in view of heat wave conditions in the state.

All government, aided and private schools of the state will remain closed during these three days, the government said in a notification.

As per the prediction of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heat wave conditions are likely to prevail in Odisha at least till April 20.

The agency has advised people to take precautionary measure while going outside during daytime between 11 am and 3 pm.
