Bhubaneswar, Feb. 27 -- The questions in the Physics paper in the ongoing Plus 2 Examination-2024 were not out of syllabus, but there was a choice deficit, clarified Odisha CHSE over allegation of out-of-syllabus questions in the Physics paper that examinees attended on February 22.

Ruling out the out-of-syllabus question allegation, CHSE Examination Controller Ashok Kumar Nayak said, "Separate questions were prepared based on the syllabuses of Regular and Ex-Regular students for Physics paper. The questions for the Regular students were not out of the syllabus. Rather, there was a choice deficit for 19 marks."

The Examination Expert Committee will review the issue and take necessary action, he said.
