Boudh, April 18 -- One more schoolteacher was suspended in Odisha for allegedly violating the model code of conduct enforced by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the ensuing elections to Lok Sabha and Assembly.

Rahiteswa Mallick, the Assistant Teacher at Baulasinga Govt Primary School under Dapala Gram Panchayat in Boudh district, was placed under suspension for attending a political party meeting.

According to reports, Mallick was present at a Congress party meeting called on April 15 for the selection of a party candidate for Kantamal Assembly Constituency. Congress leader Amir Chand Nayak, who is the party's Lok Sabha candidate from Kandhamal attended the meeting.
