India, Feb. 20 -- The Higher Education Department of the Odisha government has notified that admissions into the 4-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2026-27 will be conducted through the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026, to be organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

As per the notice issued by the NTA on February 12, candidates can submit online applications for NCET-2026 till March 10. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on April 17 (Friday) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
