Bhubaneswar, Sept. 20 -- Primary schools across Odisha, which were closed due to the COVID-19 situation, are likely to reopen in October as the School and Mass Education Department of the State Government has been preparing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in this regard, reports said.

If the decreasing trend of daily COVID-19 cases in the state continues for the next 15 days, the government may decide for commencement of physical classes for Standard-I to Standard-VIII students from October first week or after Dussehra, the reports added.
