Bhubaneswar, May 2 -- The body of a youth was spotted while hanging inside his rented house at plot number A/M-10 in VSS Nagar locality under Sahid Nagar police limits of Odisha Capital, today evening.

The deceased youth was identified as Sujit Kumar Mahalik, who belonged to Bhandaripokhari locality of Bhadrak district.

According to a police source, Sujit was found dead inside a room of the closed house under mysterious circumstances with his hands and legs tied and with injury marks on his body. His neck was seen tied with the help of a towel and the body was hanging from a very low height.

On being informed, a team of Sahid Nagar police reached the spot and launched a probe.
