Puri, April 7 -- A gang of robbers targeted the house of a Homeopathy doctor at Kharijasahi in Odisha's Puri district, looting gold ornaments and over Rs 10 lakh cash, last night.

As per reports, the intruders broke into the house of Rabindranath Mohapatra and attacked him and his wife, son, and daughter-in-law.

The incident took place while all of them were sleeping inside the house. The victims sustained injuries in the attack and were admitted to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.

Police have started an investigation into the matter while efforts were on by cops to trace and apprehend the accused.
