Bhubaneswar, Jan. 26 -- It was a proud moment for 25-year-old IPS officer S Susree as she commanded the state-levelRepublic Day parade at the Mahatma Gandhi Marg inBhubaneswar today in the presence of Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

She is one of the youngest IPS officers of Odisha cadre. An officer of 2018 batch, Susree is currently serving as the Kesinga SDPO.

The woman IPS officer was nominated by Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay as the parade commander. She led 14 contingents of CRPF, RPF, ODRAF, OISF, Odisha Fire Service, SOG etc. in the parade.
