India, July 20 -- A first-year postgraduate (PG) student of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Patna, hailing from Odisha, was found dead in his hostel room under mysterious circumstances yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Jadavendra Sahu (25), son of Upendra Sahu, of Baidyakateni village under Gondia block in Dhenkanal district.

Sahu had taken admission in AIIMS-Patna in January this year. He was doing postgraduation or MD in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (O&G) and staying in room no. 515 of the hostel no. 10 at the premier institute.

The 25-year-old was found dead in his hostel room yesterday. According to the authorities, Sahu did not open the door of his hostel room yesterday morning. His room was found locked...
