India, June 18 -- Just four days after the sensational gangrape case at Gopalpur in Odisha, another such crime has come to the fore in Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday.

Four miscreants allegedly gangraped a married woman in Rajabasa area of Baripada town yesterday.

The victim's husband has lodged a complaint in this regard with Baripada Sadar police.

As per the complaint, the miscreants abducted the woman from her house last night and took her to a nearby room.

They allegedly sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing the spot.

The police have registered a case in this regard and launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.
