Bhubaneswar, Feb. 20 -- In a bid to draw attention to the derelict condition of the statue of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose set up in at Kalpana Square in the State Capital, the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC)'s Odisha Chapter has filed a police complaint citing lack of maintenance and utter disregard for the freedom fighter.

In a complaint with Capital Police, Odisha State President of IHRC Siba Sundar Swain claimed that the statue of the Indian nationalist was given attention only during special events and left to wallow in neglect in a place of unwanted debris in other times.
