India, June 19 -- The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has formed a five-member team to collect detailed information on cases of atrocities against women in Odisha, including the horrific gangrape incident at Gopalpur.

The factfinding committee will visit Odisha and submit a comprehensive report to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.

Senior Congress leader from West Bengal, Deepa Dasmunshi, has been made the convenor of the factfinding committee.

Members of Parliament (MPs) Ranjeet Ranjan, Praniti Shinde and S. Jothimani, and woman leader Shobha Oza are the members of the factfinding committee.
