Bhubaneswar, July 13 -- Sharply reacting to self-immolation attempt by Balasore FM College girl student, who is battling for life at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik sought Governor's intervention for justice to the victim.

As the Governor serves as the Chancellor of all the government-run universities including FM University, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Supremo urged the former to intervene and ensure the student gets justice.

Taking to his X handle, he described the incident shocking and disturbing and prayed for the victim's speedy recovery from burn injuries.
