India, Jan. 20 -- major sextortion case has come to light in Cuttack, where a retired government employee was allegedly blackmailed and cheated of around Rs 90 lakh. The victim was reportedly targeted through blackmail over a period of nearly eight months, starting from May last year.

According to reports, the elderly man was repeatedly threatened and forced to transfer large sums of money to the accused. Unable to bear the harassment any longer, he eventually approached the Cuttack Cyber Police Station and lodged a formal complaint.
