India, July 20 -- The condition of the 15-year-old girl who was allegedly set on fire by miscreants in the Balanga area of Odisha's Puri district on Saturday morning remains critical.

According to a medical bulletin issued by AIIMS New Delhi, where the girl is currently undergoing treatment, she is in a critical state and on oxygen support. She was airlifted from AIIMS Bhubaneswar to AIIMS New Delhi this afternoon.

The girl, who sustained 75% burn injuries, was received by the hospital at 4:20 PM and is currently admitted to the Burn ICU in the Burns and Plastic Surgery Block. A team of doctors is closely monitoring her condition, the bulletin stated.
