Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- Around 5 lakh small investors, affected by the chitfund scam in Odisha, will get their money back within a few months.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed the authorities concerned to take the necessary steps in this regard.

"Five lakh small depositors will get their money back within three to four months. The authorities have been asked to take the necessary steps in this regard," said the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) in a statement today.

The state government, under the leadership of Majhi, has introduced several measures to expedite the refund process and ensure justice for the duped investors, added the CMO.
