Bhubaneswar adds another 369 COVID-19 cases to its tally; nearly 80% local contacts
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 30 -- Bhubaneswar city added 369 new COVID-19 positive cases to its tally in the last 24 hours. With fresh cases, the total number of COVID cases now stands at 21,895 in the State capital.
The local contact cases continue to surge in the city as compared to quarantine cases. Today, nearly 80% cases reported in the capital city are local contacts.
Of 369 new cases, 294 (approximately 79.67%) are local contacts and remaining 75 cases (about 20.32%) have been reported from different quarantine centres, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.
