Bhubaneswar, March 11 -- Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the new building of Bharatpur police station in Odisha capital here.

The swanky three-storey structure, built over around 11,000 square feet area, is the first-of-its-kind police station building in the state.

The building, constructed with an expenditure of Rs 4.5 crore, has several new features including reception area, help desk for women and children, waiting room, separate custody for men and women, counselling room, barrack, conference hall, interrogation room, toilets, rest rooms for police personnel, drinking water kiosk, creche for kids and landscaped lawns.
