Bhubaneswar, May 19 -- The Odisha Police has revoked the suspension of four police personnel, who were facing disciplinary action in connection with the alleged police excesses on a serving army officer and his fiancee in the capital city here last year.
The suspension of Sub-Inspector Baisalini Panda, ASIs Salilamayee Sahoo and Sagarika Rath, and constable Balaram Hansda has been revoked, said the Odisha Police in a statement.
The four police personnel were serving at Bharatpur police station prior to their suspension.
As per the complaint, around 12 people travelling in three cars intercepted the vehicle of the Indian Army officer near Patharagadia in the capital city in the late hours of September 15 in 2024.
