New Delhi, Dec. 3 -- Addition of two new teams to the Indian Premier League (IPL) is amongst the long agenda for the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) 89th Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on December 24, for which a notice has been issued. At present, eight teams compete in the IPL.

Representatives of the state cricket associations will have to approve the addition of the two teams for inclusion in the IPL.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah has sent the notice to all the affiliated state bodies about the AGM, and has said that the venue of the meeting would be shared in "due course".
