India, Nov. 22 -- Cabot Corporation has held the groundbreaking for its carbon black capacity expansion project in Cilegon, Indonesia. The project will add around 80,000 metric tonnes to the existing production and is expected to be completed in 2021. Upon completion, it will supply local, high-quality products to serve the increasing carbon black demand in Indonesia and throughout Southeast Asia, which is growing at four to five percent per year. Through this expansion, Cabot wants to support the growth of its tyre, industrial rubber and speciality carbons customers worldwide.
