India, March 19 -- Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSM) reported earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.
The company's earnings came in at $410.718 million, or $3.28 per share. This compares with $354.439 million, or $2.72 per share, last year.
Excluding items, Williams-Sonoma Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $3.28 per share for the period.
Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $2.94 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company's revenue for the period rose 8.1% to $2.462 billion from $2.278 billion last year.
