India, March 25 -- Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (TSEM) and Alcyon Photonics Tuesday have partnered to accelerate photonics integration by providing customers with silicon-validated, high-performance photonic building blocks - BBs and circuits for next-generation optical applications.
Utilizing Tower Semiconductor's high-volume silicon photonics - SiPho platform, the collaboration has enabled the development of robust, silicon-proven photonic IP, ensuring high performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Alcyon's design techniques, optimized for Tower's SiPho technology, offer exceptional stability, maintaining channel drifts below 3 nm despite fabrication variations of up to 30 nm.
