India, May 22 -- The Thai stock market has finished lower in two straight sessions, giving away more than 15 points or 1.2 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just beneath the 1,175-point plateau and it may tick lower again on Friday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is negative on U.S. deficit concerns and treasury yields. The European and U.S. markets were mostly soft and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
The SET finished modestly lower on Thursday following losses from the food, finance, consumer, property, resource and service sectors.
For the day, the index sank 6.44 points or 0.55 percent to finish at 1,173.37 after trading between 1,171.76 and 1,182.54. Volume was 9.349 ...
