India, Feb. 28 -- Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited (TEN) a Greece-based provider of international seaborne crude oil and petroleum product transportation services Friday announced the passing of D. John Stavropoulos, former Chairman of Tsakos Energy Navigation. Stavropoulos passed away in Athens on Tuesday at the age of 92.
Stavropoulos joined the Tsakos Group following a distinguished 33-year career at The First National Bank of Chicago and its parent, First Chicago Corp., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. Among the first in the U.S. to earn the Certified Financial Analyst designation, he was also appointed by former U.S. President George H.W.
