India, March 21 -- After an initial move to the downside, stocks have moved mostly higher over the course of morning trading on Thursday. The major averages have all climbed into positive territory after closing mixed for two straight days.
In recent trading, the major averages have reached new highs for the session. The Dow is up 80.70 points or 0.3 percent at 25,826.37, the Nasdaq is up 48.63 points or 0.6 percent at 7,777.60 and the S&P 500 is up 11.68 points or 0.4 percent at 2,835.91.
Apple (AAPL) has helped to lead the way back to the upside, with the tech giant jumping by 3.1 percent to its best intraday level in four months.
