India, April 23 -- South Korea's consumer confidence improved moderately in April, survey results published by Bank of Korea showed on Wednesday.
The consumer sentiment index rose to 93.8 in April from 93.4 in March. The score below 100 suggests that pessimists outnumber optimists.
Sentiment regarding current living standards and prospective living standards remained unchanged in April, with readings at 87 and 92, respectively.
Consumer sentiment related to future household income was stable at 96, and that concerning future household spending gained one point to 105.
