India, May 19 -- New York-based South Asian Food Inc. is recalling its Bengal King Family Pack Vegetable Singara as it may contain undeclared peanuts, a known allergen, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall was initiated after it was found that a peanut-containing ingredient, which was not declared on the label, was due to unintentional human error during packaging.

However, the production has been paused while the company and the FDA work together to ensure the labeling issue is fully resolved.

The recalled Vegetable Singara was available in 1875g size, in black, green, and blue text on a white paper package. It comes with Lot #007, UPC #1824448372340, and an expiration date of June 10, 2026.
