India, May 16 -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports grew at the fastest pace in nine months in April, data from Enterprise Singapore showed Friday.
Non-oil domestic exports grew 12.4 percent year-over-year in April, faster than the 5.4 percent rise in the previous month. Meanwhile, economists were looking for a slower increase of 4.0 percent.
Exports of electronic products grew 23.5 percent in April from last year, much faster than the 12.2 percent rise a month ago. Similarly, the annual growth in shipments of non-electronic products accelerated to 9.3 percent from 3.7 percent.
