India, Aug. 29 -- Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (IPDN) skyrocketed 268.05 percent to $7.19, gaining $5.24 in Friday's session despite no new company developments. The unexpected surge sent shares to their highest levels in months.
The stock opened at $3.04 and jumped between $2.79 and $7.66, compared with a previous close of $1.95 on the Nasdaq. Trading activity was extraordinary, with volume spiking to 169.3 million shares, far above the average of 1.59 million.
Shares of Professional Diversity Network are currently trading in the middle of their 52-week range of $0.97 to $11.20.
